Welcome Col. Helstad, USAF (Ret.)
CMC.jpg) Continental Mapping is pleased to announce the hiring of Retired Colonel Chris Helstad as director of business development in our Federal Programs Division. Col. Helstad retired from the Wisconsin Air National Guard in 2009, fresh off a 5-month tour as the Chief of Combat Operations for the Continental United States North America Aerospace Defense Command (CONR).
Col. Helstad brings to Continental Mapping 24 years of military leadership experience and direct knowledge of DoD and FAA aerospace information programs relevant to our work, including obstruction flight analysis and intelligence operations. Col. Helstad’s experience as an F-16 pilot and an international pilot for Delta Airlines provides our clients with valuable insight into aviation programs worldwide. Col. Helstad has a firsthand understanding of the needs of Air Force and Army base range commanders, garnered from his service as the Director of Operations for Joint Force Headquarters - Wisconsin Air National Guard from 2003-2009 and from his experience with worldwide operations. We are pleased to have Col. Helstad advising in our daily operations and being a public face of the company |
