Photogrammterist/Lidar Technician - Oregon Office

The stereocompiler/photogrammetrist is responsible for efficient, accurate compilation of photogrammetric base maps using a softcopy stereoplotter in accordance with established mapping specifications by applying advanced knowledge of photogrammetry. An understanding of photogrammetry principles, mapping specifications, and map accuracy standards is required.

Other duties as assigned may include cartographic editing, map finishing, project setup, AT measurement, lidar data processing, and QA/QC procedures. The stereocompiler/ photogrammetrist may also be assigned project oversight duties as required.

Position Requirements:

Demonstrated experience with 3-D stereocompilation (minimum of 5 years experience) producing plan and DTM at all scales
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field
Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally with Production Supervisor , clients, and coworkers
Ability to accurately follow given specifications and requirements for mapping projects Ability to provide guidance and QA/QC oversight to other stereocompilers
ASPRS Certified Photogrammetric Technician
Experience with SSK and Intergraph photogrammetry software suite
