Geospatial Analyst - Federal Division

This entry-level position is in our Federal Programs Division in our
Sun Prairie office. The geospatial analyst will be required to
accurately and efficiently collect feature and/or elevation data from
stereo imagery using ArcGIS and Socet Set along with other software applications as needed in accordance with
established specifications. This position may require working on second
shift, depending on staff and project requirements.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a geospatial discipline
- Excellent stereoscopic vision (a vision test may be performed before an offer of employment is extended)
- The ability to maintain close collaboration with the QA/QC Project Manager to ensure accuracy and completeness requirements are met
- The willingness to accept direction from management and peers to improve accuracy and efficiency
- A high degree of analytical skill and attention to detail, as well as an understanding of photogrammetric principles, mapping specifications, and map accuracy standards
- A demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic team environment
Other Preferred Experience and Skills
- Knowledge of NGA products and workflows
- Experience using Socet Set and ArcGIS for feature and/or elevation extraction
- Experience with DTM collection and editing
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance. Employment start date may depend on issuance of security clearance.
