This is an entry-level position starting within our Federal Programs Division located in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. However, positional growth will include work within our Commercial Division. The primary responsibility of Technical Services is to provide geospatial information gathered from satellite and airborne systems to create global geospatial image and vector products utilizing ArcGIS, Socet Set and a variety of other GIS tools and software applications.

Responsibilities include determining precise location, features, and dimensions of objects, and working directly with clients and team members in researching, evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to produce current and finished geospatial intelligence products, within specifications and budget.

Position Requirements

• Education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a geospatial area of study with a directly related internship, or an associate’s degree with 1-3 years of directly related experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to this
• Knowledge and understanding in photogrammetry and geospatial data development workflows
• Coursework should be supplemented with word processing, spreadsheets, communications, and geospatial disciplines.
• Excellent stereoscopic vision
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, particularly strong verbal communication and listening skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• A high degree of analytical skill and attention to detail
• Good keyboarding, spelling, and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS, Socet Set, MicroStation V8 (V8i), DAT/EM Summit and/or AutoCAD
• This function requires a DoD clearance (some projects require US citizenship)
