Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection & Restoration Act Projects (CWPPRA)
USGS: National Wetlands Research Center Continental Mapping provided orthorectification of color infrared aerial photography for the U.S. Geological Survey’s National Wetlands Research Center (USGS NWRC) in Lafayette, Louisiana. The resulting orthophoto covered 225 square miles of coastal wetlands in southern Louisiana and is currently used to create basemaps, perform vegetation and land/water classification, and provide a backdrop for GIS data layers. |
